October 8...Concerned group meets to discuss establishment of a new church branching
off from Broadway Christian Church with Orel Newbrey as the organizing minister.
October 29...First services held at Edgemoor Park Recreation Center, 5815 E 9th Street, Wichita, KS..In attendance were 163 faithful believers.
November 5...Orel Newbrey called to be our minister.
November 15...Officially took the name of Faith Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
November 29...First baptism service held at Central Christian Church baptizing 3 new believers.
December 3... First church services held at Hadley Jr. High, 1101 Dougherty, Wichita, KS.
1979
January 9... Charter Sunday – Total charters members of Faith Christian Church is 187.
January 25... Article of Incorporation.
Faith Promise began.
Women of Faith formed.
April 10... Vote of 107 in favor, 26 opposed to secure loan for 10 acre church property on Tyler Road, Wichita, KS consisting of 10 acres at a cost of $80,000.00.
October 7... First services held at our current location previously Enterprise Christian Church,
2110 W 45th St South, Wichita, KS.
October 15... Official vote to make 2110 W 45th St South home to Faith Christian Church.

July 15... First vacation bible school…54 students

January... Title transfer to Faith Christian Church from Enterprise

April 12... Vote approved to build addition to church
September... Vote approved to begin construction of new addition as funds are available..

January... Purchase of Clavinova replaces organ.

June...New round tables purchased for the commons area dining room
July... Jeff Greco & family, senior pastor resigns to take a church in Stuebanville, Ohio. Last service with Faith is July 25th, 2004.
August.... Mike Chrisman, Youth Pastor assumes "Interim Senior Pastor" position.
2005
Greg Hamlin become the new Senior Pastor.
